Tunisian referee Slim Jedidi has been appointed to officiate the semi-final match of the African Cup of Nations between Ghana and Burkina Faso on Wednesday.

The Tunisian referee will be assisted by his two compatriots, Anwar Bashir and Hmila Hassani.

The trio have officiated in matches involving Ghana’s opponents on their way to the semi-final of the competition.

They were in charge of Ghana’s Group B opponents Mali-Niger before taking to the centre of the Angola-Cape Verde match in the first round.

Gambian Gassama Bakary Papa will lead the second semi-final match between Mali and Nigeria.

    He better not cheat us.

  2. Chuku says:

Ooh Papa Issa Hayatou! Ghana need to worry of this French connection. U cannot trust anyone. Hope Asamoah Gyan can convert his chances if he can stop pulling his pant down.

  3. cool says:

Ghanaians hate the truth.Anyone who thinks Gyan is a reliable striker should have his head examined-Icluding the Coach. The guy is simply washed out, old and unreliable. My concern is when are we going to find a replacement?Look at Brazil for instance, all the players who played in the previous World Cup have been dropped. Wake up Ghanians

    • Ghanaman says:

He is good enough and the best we have… I think you are a jealous person but, Gyan will succeed and you will fail! What have you done with your life bum?? Exactly nothing!

GO Gyan Go!! YOu are the man!

  4. cool says:

I’ll always pick a player who is plying his trade in Africa and European league than someone playing in a bogus Arab League.Wake up GFA because Ghana is blessed with a lot of Talent. Please stop relying on half bake and unproductive players.

  5. cool says:

Ghana’s top stiker has scored one goal in 4 matches. We rely on midfielders to score goals, why not subtitute him-this is common sense and not me being a loser or a failure.Half of you Ghanaians don’t use your senses and lack creativity, you just sit back and follow blindly.

  6. Ghanaman says:

Cool you are probably some fat dumb idiot who thinks he knows everythign but, knows nothing… IDIOT!!!

Allah will strike down all the enemies of this team if they don’t change their tone!!

  7. cool says:

Your language and tone alone tells that you in a remote village in Ghana without a Job.I can tell from your tone that you can not reason and you cannot debate.Allah gave you brains be creative with it and stop following people blindly. We need educated people in Ghana.

Yes,yes yes I said it much much earlier, the Ghanaian team was taught a lesson by what seemingly was a game between 1 Bance of Burkina Faso and the entire team of the uncircumcised dark stars. I said it before the match that we were yet to witness the circumcising of the little stars of Ghana by the Burkinabes.
Ghana team was tortured, mitilated, humbled, butchered, wired, whipped, wedged, masarcered, split apart, humiliated, disengaged, deformed, demolished, disaggregated by the stallions of Burkina faso. Even with the help of the stupid referee, the uncircumcised boys of Ghana failed lamentably to carry the day. Against all odds, Burkina Faso rode on the backs of the self proclaimed best African footballers. I can imagine the high levels of adrenaline in the blood systems of most Ghanains who thought their stupid and useless players could put smiles of their faces.
A wrinkled faced Gyan Asamoah and long-lipped wakaso had their features made worse. Gyan’s face became more wrinkled and looked like the soles of a bata-shoe while the long lips of wakaso were enlongeated to resemble human vagina labias.
Ghanaians I warned you that football is spherical and can roll in any direction. You are a fuck who reached semis through referee favour, u see now, Burky are in the finals.
One blogger called “Zambia is a toilet hole”, where are you mother fucker? Your boys were booted out little dark pigs. U talked too much and what you talked about was useless.
…….and you say Ghana can represent Africa. Go to sleep my friend for you do not what you are talking about. Am sure streets in Accra and other municipals are damn mute.
You quacks were awarded a fake penalty, demanded another penalty through your captain, Gyan. A clear goal was denied to my colleagues, the burkinabes (that referee must indeed be dismissed). You bought the referee to red-card Pitroipa (Pitroipa should and must appeal to be allowed to play the final, I love the guy.)
After your boys were circumcised by Bance, they were in pain and developed rickets, and kicked penalties while spreading their legs, thereby missing the goal post. Ha ha ha ha ha ha k eke k eke ke. That was really good to see.
Zambia will be coming to Kumasi and heal those wounds developed from Bance’s circumcision.
In a nutshell, Ghana team is buuuuuuuullsheeeet. Appiah you are useless. You call getting favours from the referee creating chances. Foolish man. Where are your senses. That’s what you call making chances in Ghana. Booooshit! The money you paid the referee for favours is now under zzzzzzzzzzzz bridge. Useless coach. Resign even.
    Careful: Bance!

Livorno Life Patron slates 'below par' Alfred Duncan

Livorno chairman Aldo Spinelli has passed a damning verdict over this season’s performance of Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan. The 21-year-old who is on loan from Italian giants Inter has made 13 starts for the Dark Red this season. Duncan was expected to have improved his form during his loan stint with the Serie-A strugglers as he look to return to Inter as a regular first team player. But Livorno chairman Spinelli says the Ghanaian has been the worst performer of his side this term. “In this moment is that, unfortunately, is the most disappointing of all,” he said. “Last year was the author of a great championship, and this year went very intermittently. “I can say that we were expecting something extra that up to this time has not yet given.” Duncan is expected to return to Inter when his loan spell at Livorno expires at the end of the current campaign.
