Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak are to wrap-up deals for duo Yakubu Mohammed and Emmanuel Asante, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm. 

The Phobians have been locked in negotiations with Bechem United for the signing of Asante, 19, who is an integral member of Sellas Tetteh's U20 project, and they are set to reach an agreement.

Hearts of Oak assistant trainer Stephen Abugri was at the Accra Sports Stadium to see the attacking midfielder in action for Ghana's U20 side on Sunday and has given the go-ahead for his signing.

Talks with striker Yakubu Mohammed has reached an advanced stages and, free agent Yakubu Mohammed who has returned to Ghana after being released by South African outfit Maritzburg United, is expected to put pen to paper before end of the week.

The powerful center-forward was spotted at the Hearts' secretariat in Accra last week and is reviewing a proposed offer given to him.

Negotiations with both players are over 80% completed and deals are expected to be sign before end of this week or early next week.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands Herbert Addo has four slots available to fill in his squad and he has targeted signing stellar players.
