Coach of Iranian club Tractor Sazi Oliveria Toni says he will win the Asian Champions League title of he had Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan playing for him.

The Portuguese coach made this acknowledgement when he was presented with the jersey of the Black Stars captain in the aftermath of his side’s 2-2 draw with Al Ain in the Champions League match played last week.

Gyan was on target in that game played in Tabriz to finish off the tie against the Iranian club with a hat trick of goals after scoring twice in the reverse encounter in Al Ain.

The Ghana captain is joint leading scorer in this season’s continental club competition with five goals as he looks to power his side into the knockout stages.

The former Sunderland hitman’s form since arriving in the UAE in 2012 has been simply phenomenal.

The 28-year-old has scored 90 times in his 85 appearances for Al Ain – culminating into winning back-to-back top goalscorer award in the UAE top flight.
