Richard Kissi-Boateng believes he will thrive on his AFCON experience
Ghana defender Richard Kissi-Boateng believes TP Mazembe will reap the benefits from his involvement in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Boateng, 24, made his debut appearance in the continental showpiece in South Africa after impressing heavily for Berekum Chelsea in the 2012 CAF Champions League.
The former Liberty Professionals left-back played a cameo role in the team’s disappointing fourth position.
Boateng believes he will thrive on his experience from his time in South Africa, and it will ultimately help his new club in the long-run.
“Playing in the Nations Cup has give me a lot of experience and made me a better player,” Boateng said
“It was my first time playing in such a huge tournament and I believe I have learnt a lot.
“My confidence is up and that will help me to give off my best here (TP Mazembe).”
Boateng joined the Ravens on a five-year deal from the 2011 Ghanaian champions.
