TP Mazembe winger Solomon Asante wants to chart his way back into the Black Stars for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals Brazil.

Asante made the cut for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations but lost his position as a regular member of the team for the World Cup qualifiers.

The diminutive winger has been in top form for his DR Congo giants who are seeking qualification to the Group stage of this year’s CAF Champions League.

Asante hopes his form at club level can catch the eyes of Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah.

"Mazembe is doing well and the cohesion in the team is unbelievable, I personally am happy with my contribution and looking forward to improving so I can regain my position back in my national team," Asante said.

"I have been in the Black Stars before and I got there by virtue of hard work so am going to ensure I continue working hard to ensure I get my position back."
