Daniel Nii Adjei wants to become an instant hit at TP Mazembe

By Patrick Akoto

Midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei wants to become an instant hit at Congolese giants TP Mazembe.

The 23-year-old is set to sign the dotted lines for the four-time African champions after he completed his medical last week together with Yaw Frimpong.

He says he is determined to break into the star studded team when he finally joins The Ravens.

“I know it is going to be difficult but I’m ready to fight and be part of the starting X1,” Adjei told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“I’m going there with a positive convinction. I am not going there to do shopping. I am going there to play football and get call-ups into the national team.”

Adjei won the MVP award for last season after excelling heavily for Kotoko which earned him his debut call-up into the Black Stars for their 2013 African Cup of Nations reverse qualifier against Malawi.

Kotoko, why are u selling our good players like Adjei and Frimpong whiles the team is in difficulties now? Look at our performance and the position in dis league. And even not anywhere than Congo. Why do our local players now like Congo TP like dat? We live to see! Then no blames to the referees when we draw or lost. ”Thank U KK”
