Tottenham on alert as Christian Atsu turns down Porto contract extension

Christian Atsu has turned down an offer to extend his contract at FC Porto

Tottenham Hotspur has been put on alert after winger Christian Atsu turned down an offer to extend his contract.

The Portuguese giants were hoping to tie down the 20-year-old to a long-term deal but reports suggest negotiations have broken down.

The latest development has put Tottenham alert with manager Andre Villas-Boas still interested in the player that he nurtured during his time at Porto.

The English side failed in their attempt to sign the player during the summer but will now re-enter the race to entice him to White Hart Lane.

The Ghanaian international has also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund and Valencia.

If you get the chance, go to B. Dortmund, ‘cos you would fit perfectly into their system of play (though I don’t like their coach because of his paapaa , he is a very good coach)Besides, the German mentality and discipline would go a long way to raise and perfect your style and talent. Grab the chance if you get it !!!

A very good move. Porto is a good side but they will keep you on the bench for a very long time. If you don’t want to rot on the bench, better move to where you can get playing time.

Dortmund is not bad. They love the youth.
