Ghana Under-20 striker Daniel Adade has provided Istanbul FC with massive boost ahead of their promotional play-offs by returning to training.

The top striker suffered a horrible injury during their 1-0 win over Great Olympics at Akyem Techiman two months ago after breaking his jaw.

The ambitious Ghanaian second-tier side coped well without the 18-year-old after securing qualification to their third successive play-offs.

Istanbul, which is owned by two Turkish businessmen, have vowed to secure top-flight football next season after placing second in zone 3A behind Great Olympics.

They will battle three former Premier League sides – Okwahu United, Great Olympics and Tema Youth for a place in Ghana’s elite division.
