Thai side Buriram claim they rejected an offer from German Bundesliga side Borussia Moenchengladbach for Frank Acheampong.
The 18-year-old Ghana youth international is wanted by clubs in Europe after some eye-catching displays in Asia.
The former Berekum Chelsea player became a talking point after man-of-the-match display in Buriram's win over big-spending Guangzhou Evergrande in China in the Asian Champions League.
Buriram PEA say they have received lots of offers for the player nicknamed "Ghana's Messi" including an offer from Moechengladbach.
"Their offered fee was less than 1 million," Buriram owner Newin Chidchob said. "Acheampong is worth more than that."
Acheampong joined Buriram PEA as a 16-year-old two years ago and helped them to win the Thai League last season.
