Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has decided against playing a warm-up match ahead of their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda.
The Black Stars were billed to play a lower tier side as part of efforts to get the team into shape for Saturdayââ¬â¢s clash.
But Appiah has rule that out and wants to focus on preparing the team during the training sessions.
ââ¬ÅWe will not be playing any friendly games because of the short duration we have to the game,â⬠Appiah said.
ââ¬ÅHad the game been on Sunday then we could have played a friendly game today but because itââ¬â¢s on Saturday we will have to just concentrate on working within ourselves.ââ¬
