Ghanaian side Tema Youth have rejected reports that they are on the verge of selling their talented youngster Moses Odjer to Italian side Udinese.

The Italian media widely reported last week that the Ghanaian club is negotiating a deal for the 16-year-old to join the Serie A by the end of this month.

However the Ghanaian club say the youngster, who excelled at the recent U20 World Cup in Turkey is not on the verge of a move to Italy.

“I have to state categorically that nothing has happened between Tema Youth and Udinese,” the president of Tema Youth Wilfred Kwaku Osei told Radio XYZ.

“There have been a number of offers for Moses but obviously nothing concrete has taken place between my club and Udinese.

"The only time Udinese came into the picture was two weeks ago when the Udinese Vice President spoke to my Deputy CEO Henry Asante but that was all, they are yet to make a bid let alone kick start negotiation.

"The news is untrue and I really don’t know where it came from."

Odjer has attracted interest from several clubs across the globe including Ghanaian giants Kotoko
