The Premier League Board have postponed the Premier League game between Tema Youth and Hearts of Oak.
The Harbour-based side requested for the postponement of their opening League fixture at home due to the unavailability of four of their key players.
Defender Jeremiah Ankorful and midfield duo Derrick Mensah and Moses Odjie as well as Francis Narh have travelled with the country’s Under-20 team to Morocco ahead of the return fixture of the 2013 African Youth qualifier this weekend.
Article 13 of the Ghana Football Association’s regulations clearly stipulates that any team that contributes more than three players to the national team will have their match deferred upon request.
The fixture has now been pushed to Wednesday October 10 – at a time that the quartets would have arrived in time from Rabat.
Youth want to have the full compliments of their team ahead of the big game against the capital-based side.
wait 4 dem n scor hearts 4 me.
Wait and get the full compliment of your squad and punish this azaa people.
Tema youth can run bt they cnt hide. Phooobia! Continental club masters!
How come Tema youth alone has four players in that team. How many division one and premier league teams do we have in the country. Couldn’t the the handlers of the under 20 team pick players from the other teams?
This is what always discourage soccer fans from attending matches.
Only God knows how may postponements we will have in the season.
However the defeat for Tema youth is only being postponed. Hearts will surely defeat them on Wednesday.
wait for them so u can beat HRTS for us
good decision, wait 4 them and punish them
i can feel it in my heart that they are going to sink hats of oak on the 10th day of the month……FOOOOBLEM
