Tema Youth dumps Liberty out of FA cup

Tema Youth recorded a 1-0 victory over Liberty Professionals in Accra on Monday to progress to the quarter-finals of the MTN FA cup.

Francis Narh’s first half strike was enough to hand the Harbour-based side their second victory over Liberty in five days.

They beat them by the same score line in the Ghana Premier League to boost their survival ambition at their own home turf.

The result means Liberty has crushed out of the prestigious cup competition and will end the season without a silverware.
