Tema Youth Director Parma vows to halt Kotoko’s unbeaten run

Posted On Wednesday, 21st November 2012

Tema Youth will host Kotoko on Sunday

Tema Youth Sporting Director Winfred Osei has warned that his side are desperate to end Kotoko’s unbeaten start to the Premier League season with victory this weekend.

The Porcupine Warriors are the only side in the top-flight which is yet to suffer defeat after seven rounds of matches.

The champions visit Tema Youth on Sunday hoping to consolidate their unbeaten run in the league.

The Tema Youth chief thinks the game will be a good test to see whether his side are capable of challenging for honours and says his side will be looking for a win against the Kumasi-based club.

“It’s a big opportunity for us to break Kotoko’s unbeaten run and I believe the players are prepared for the battle on Sunday,” Parma said

“The players are mindful of the fact that it’s not going to be easy. But they are prepared to go the extra-mile.

“We have looked at Kotoko and I believe we have what it takes to stop them. Their coach knows our boys inside-out but we also know his tactical disposition.

“And I believe we’ll win on Sunday.”
