Tema Youth coach Edward Odoom says his side failed to keep their focus after allowing Aduana to claw back twice from behind to draw 2-2 at the Tema Park on Sunday.
Youth thought they had recorded their first win in three games but Daniel Darkwah scored in the 93rd minute to claim a crucial away point for Aduana Stars.
It took just 15 minutes for Abass Mohammed to carve Aduana open but Alex Asamoah levelled for the visitors but former Ghana U17 forward Emmanuel Boateng restored their lead 15 minutes from time.
Youth pushed and had the chances but wasted all if them.
Just when they thought they had bagged the maximum points, Daniel Darkwah scored in stoppage-time for Aduana.
And Youth head coach Edward Odoom says loss of concentration cost his side all points at stake.
“We failed to keep our focus in the game and that cost us a lot,” he said after the game.
“We had chances we should have converted but we weren’t purposeful upfront.
The result keep Youth at the danger of dropping into the relegation zone, just a point above 14th-placed King Faisal who have an outstanding game in hand.
