Egyptian side Zamalek have announced that they will mourn for three days the death of their young player Yousef Mohi who passed away on Sunday morning.

Zamalek sent Mohi and Mahmoud Khaled Shika to Al Ittihad of Alexandria on loan for six months last November.

"We are in mourning for three days after the death of our young player Yousef Mohi," Zamalek published.

Al Ittihad also gave details about the death of the youngster.

"Yousef and Mahmoud were on their way back from Alexandria to their homes in Cairo after ending the team training before they had a car accident," Al Ittihad team director Ibrahim Hassan said.

"Yousef was moved to a hospital in bad condition before he passed away few hours after his arrival at the hospital."

The Egypt Football Association has delayed Al Itiihad's game against Al Dakhlyia that was supposed to be on Sunday.
