Tagoe hits brace in final friendly win for Al-Ettifaq

Prince Tagoe back scoring regularly for his club

By Ameenu Shardow

Ghana striker Prince Tagoe scored a brace for Al-Ettifaq in the 2-0 friendly win over Najran FC on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old appears to have rediscovered his goalscoring form since returning to Saudi Arabia this January.

The ex Hoffenheim player endured a torrid time with Turkish club Bursaspor since arriving in 2011.

He however returned to the Saudi Arabia where his football has thrived the most in a bid regain his form – a decision swhich is already yielding results.

Tagoe has now scored four goals in four games since joining Ettifaq on a six-month loan deal.

The ex Ghana Premier League Goal King is coming into form just in time for the resumption of the Saudi top flight at the end of this month.

If Tagoe can still score goals in this Arab league then Gyan is useless. We all know Tagoe cannot score anymore
He is useless. The Arab league is like street soccer in Ghana. Why is Gyan still striking for the Ghana Black Stars?

As a way of discouraging our players from moving to inferior leagues I would suggest you stop bringing them to this website.Their migration to these leagues has serious consequence on our national teams.
