Tema Youth coach Tony Lokko has blamed his players for the 1-0 away loss to Liberty Professionals on Sunday.

The Premier League re-entrants spurned several chances especially with set pieces to draw level or win the game.

Lokko, who has come under-pressure, has attributed the trend of his misfiring side to tactical indiscipline on the part of his players.

“We have taught the players how to take set pieces but unfortunately for some inexplicable reasons, they fail to replicate it in matches,” an obviously livid Lokko said after the game.

“I don’t know why the players keep choosing to do things in their own way. It is something we have to sort out before our next game.”

The loss firmly places Tema Youth in the relegation zone with only one point, only Bechem United are worse off with no points.

Tema Youth next play Medeama SC who themselves are on an impressive run – winning their last two games.
