Helsingborg Sporting Director Jesper Jansson has admitted his side cannot hold onto their star striker David Accam much longer and are planning a replacement for him.

The ‘King’ returned to scoring ways on Wednesday night after he bagged a sensational brace on his injury return in their 3-1 win over Brommapojkarna in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

The Ghanaian international has been a subject intense bidding from stellar clubs in Europe and the Middle East and the club’s sporting director Jesper Jansson admits they will have to sell him sooner rather than later with his contract set to expire in 2016.

“In the current situation, we have no concrete bid to rule the moment. But it is clear that sooner or later he will move on in their careers.”

The former Right to Dream Academy product has now scored 16 goals so far this term.
