SuperSport United will move Ghanaian midfielder Edwin Gyimah to defence following the long-term injury of Bevan Fransman.

Fransman is in danger of missing out of the remainder of the season after he tore a ligament in his ankle and the Matsatsantsa medical team has ruled him out of action for six weeks.

United coach Cavin Johnson will pair the Ghanaian international with Mor Diouf in the heart of defence.

The versatility of the former All Stars player could help him earn a place in the Ghana squad ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
