Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene enjoyed his stay in Ghana and will love to return to the West African country for another pre-season.

The Zambia international spent 12 days with Sundowns as they trimmed the rough edges before the start of the upcoming season.

Mweene, who joined the Brazilians from Free State Stars this transfer window, played against Ghanaian top-flight sides Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarfs.

"The reception has been well, Ghanaians are very nice people and they did receive us well," Mweene said.

"We just look forward and come back for pre season here again because we had a nice time here in Ghana. For me was the reception was overwhelming."

Mweene will return to Ghana in two months with the Chipolopolo for the final Group D Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars.
