Muniru ‘Sariki’ Muntari, the younger brother of Sulley Muntari is in the dark over his prospective move to Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old underwent trials with the Spanish champions two months ago but says he is yet to receive any notification as to whether he will be offerred a professional contract or not.

“Everything went well there, I trained well and did my best while there but am yet to get their response,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Muniru has since returned to Ghana and is currently training with Liberty Professionals as he awaits the January transfer window to see whether a move will be on the cards.

“In the interim I am back training with Liberty as I await their (Real) response,” he adds.

Muniru captained Abuakwa State College to win the national Milo Championships where he emerged the best player.

He has long been tipped by pundits and connoisseurs of the game to outshine his two elder brothers Sulley Muntari and Sulley Musah due to his huge potential.
