Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has backed the Black Stars to beat Zambia in Friday’s World Cup qualifier in Kumasi.
The AC Milan ace was dropped for the crucial tie after failing to apologize to coach Kwesi Appiah in time following his tirade against the trainer during the qualifier in Lesotho.
The 29-year-old has sent a goodwill message to his team-mates to ditch the Zambian in front of a partisan Kumasi crowd.
“Good luck Black Stars. Let’s get the 3 points,” Muntari tweeted Thursday.
Muntari will be available for selection if the Black Stars advance to the final stage of the qualifying round.
