Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has praised AC Milan's bravery in their 2-2 stalemate with AS Roma in the Italian Serie A on Monday.

The 29-year-old rescued the game for the Rossoneris as he set up Christian Zapata with a flicking header to score the leveller for Milan on the half-hour mark.

The talisman then scored a crucial equaliser for Massimiliano Allegri's men 13 minutes from time with a sensational right-footer  from inside of the box - he latched on to a Mario Balotelli pass and fired a fierce low drive into the bottom right corner.

And after helping Milan secure a vital away point, the Black Stars enforcer has quickly shifted his focus to Milan's next game as they seek to lift themselves from the bottom half of the table.

"Forza Milan. Now on to the next match. Thanks to all," he tweeted after the game.

It was Muntari's fourth goal of the season for Milan in 12 games and his return from injury has boosted Milan's resurgence.
