Sulley Muntari left out AC Milan squad for US tour

Sulley Muntari celebrates a strike for Milan

Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari was left out of the AC Milan squad which will tour the USA.

The 27-year-old is in the treatment room after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

Muntari who is making steady progress was however left behind by coach Max Allegri.

He showed up on the first day of Milan’s pre-season training although he was unfit to train.

AC Milan are scheduled to play Chelsea, Club Deportivo Olimpia and Real Madrid-Milan.
