Sulley Muntari hails mature Mario Balotelli

Sulley Muntari

AC Milan ace Sulley Muntari has revealed that Mario Balotelli has grown up since their days together at Inter.

“Balotelli has changed a lot over these years,” the Ghanaian international stated after the 1-1 derby draw.

“He’s more mature and you could see that on Sunday despite the pressure he was under and the difficulty of the moment.

“It’s just a shame he didn’t score. It’s also a shame that we only got a draw. We should have won for ourselves and for our fans.”

Balotelli joined the Diavolo last month from Manchester City, while Muntari put pen to paper for the Rossoneri in January 2012 after a transfer directly from the Beneamata.

“This jersey is already a part of me,” the 28-year-old added. “It’s in my blood…”
