Midfielder Sulley Muntari says AC Milan will be genuine Italian Serie A title contenders for next season.Â
The Ghana international-who missed chunk of the first half of the season due to injury, has seen the Rossoneri as bridesmaid to Juventus for two seasons running.
Milan are now playing for third place to secure an automatic UEFA Champions slot for next season.
But Muntari believes they will be gunning for the topmost prize next term.
"At the moment, it is important to concentrate on getting third place,'' the 28-year-old told Milan Channel.
"But I'm sure that next season we will have everything in order to challenge for the Scudetto.
"Now we are focusing on Pescara. We believe in our own ability and we want to win at all cost.
"Earlier this year we struggled with all the changes that were made over the summer, but slowly we have become a team."
Milan are currently third in Serie A, four points ahead of Fiorentina who are in fourth place.
