CFR Cluj's Muniru Sulley has targeted to become one of the best performers in this season's Romanian Liga I which began on Friday night.

The 21-year-old was dazzling for the Railway men in their Europa League second qualifying round tie against Jagodina.

His perky dribbles set up to score the goal which gave them a 1-0 win in Serbia on Thursday night to seal a 1-0 aggregate win.

Sulley, whose elder brother Sulley Muntari stars for AC Milan in the Serie A, believes this term will be his breakthrough in Europe.

"Last season was horrible for me because I got a tendon injury and was sidelined for five months. I only played in the first half and the last game of the season,” the former Liberty Professionals player told Africanfootball.com

"Insha Allah I am fit this season and with what I was able to do in the Europa League, I think I can make a huge impact.”

CFR Cluj will open their campaign against FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt at home on Sunday.
