Yakubu Mohammed is unsure about his club future

Striker Yakubu Mohammed is undecided whether he will re-sign for Ashantigold or join Hearts of Oak.

The bulky striker has returned to Ghana after he was released by South African side Maritzburg United.

The 23-year-old failed to impress the Team of Choice during his short spell at the club and has been told to look elsewhere.

Mohammed is now thorn between Hearts and Ashantigold as he ponders his next move, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

Hearts are believed to be interested and have made an initial approach for his services.

Even though Ashantigold have insisted they are not interested in re-engaging him, media reports in the African country have suggested he will start pre-season with the miners on Monday.

With the calendar of the Ghana Premier League unknown, he has enough time on his hands to decide his club future.
