Striker Waris attributes impressive form to hard work

Waris enjoying form of his life in Sweden

By Ameenu Shardow

Ghanaian striker Abdul Majid Waris says hard work is responsible for his impressive goal scoring form in the Swedish top flight.

The 20-year-old scored in his third consecutive game over the weekend in Hacken’s 3-2 loss to Helsinborg.

Waris’ hot form has got many wondering his source of inspiration but he says it’s simply down to hard work and belief.

“I think hard work is paying off everything with faith and believe,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate has been capped once for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
