Striker Sulley Mohammed is an injury doubt for the Ghana U20 team ahead of their ultimate African Youth Championship qualifier against Gabon.

The King Faisal hitman is struggling with an ankle injury and has not been able to train fully with the side.

The medical team of the Black Satellites have however refused to rule out the young striker for the first leg encounter against Gabon on August 17 as he continues to show signs of progress in his recovery.

Ghana will be hosting Gabon in the first leg of the final qualifier in Accra before traveling to Libreville for the return encounter a fortnight after.

The Black Satellites hope to make next year’s finals to be staged in Senegal after finishing second to Egypt in the last edition hosted by Libya.
