Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani says striker Samad Oppong is yet to officially join the club as he remains under observation.
The 26-year-old has been training with the Ghanaian champions with the view of rejoining the club following failed stints abroad.
Oppong left Kotoko in 2011 to join Algerian club Entente Setif but returned to Ghana to join AshGold after two years.
The ex King Faisal striker then returned abroad to join Cypriot club Ethnikos Achna last year but has eventually returned to Ghana where he looks to rejoin Asante Kotoko.
But coach Mas-Ud Dramani says the talented striker is now just under observation.
“He [Samad Oppong] is still under observation at this point,†he told MTNFootball.com.
“We are still monitoring him to see if he can join the team.â€
