Striker Patrick Agyemang signs for Stevenage

Ghanaian striker Patrick Agyemang left Queens Park Rangers to join English third-tier side Stevenage FC.

The 31-year-old penned a one-year-deal at the League One side on transfer deadline day after being released by the Loftus Road side in July.

Stevenage claim Agyemang, who excelled on a short-term loan spell in March, turned down a couple of League One offers to join the club.

Gary Smith’s side will have the option of signing him for another year.

He scored 16 times in 75 appearances for QPR since joining them in 2008.
