Eric Bekoe’s move to Tripoli Sporting Club of Lebanon is in danger after the striker suffered a knee injury in training on Monday.
The 27-year-old was at the receiving end to a tackle by his teammate during training.
Bekoe will have to undergo further tests to ascertain the severity of his latest injury setback.
According to reports, the former Berekum Chelsea striker could have his one-year contract rescinded if it is established he can’t recover in time.
He missed the whole of last season after breaking his league in the off-season and needed reconstructive surgery.
