Ahmed Toure has dared Kotoko to report him to FIFA

By Patrick Akoto

Striker Ahmed Toure has challenged Kotoko to report him to Fifa for terminating his contract with the club.

The 25-year-old quit the Ghanaian champions, with five months left on his contract after claiming he had documentations to validate his exit from the club.

Kotoko threatened to drag the former Lokeren and Africa Sports attacker to the world governing body, Fifa, for illegally terminating his contract.

But Toure has dared the Porcupine Warriors to make any such move since he insists it will be an exercise in fruitility.

“They claim I have a contract with them till December. They should report me to Fifa,” Toure told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“No one can catch me because I have done nothing wrong.

“A lot of things have passed under the bridge. I just want to tell the supporters that I was not responsible for the strain relationship.

“I love the team. The club will always be in my heart. I am praying for them to win the League and the Africa Champions League as well.

“At the moment, I have lots of offers on the table but I am training on my own before I decide my next move.”

The controversial striker was voted MVP for the 2010/2011 Ghana Premier League season.
