Ex-Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure is keen to stage a return to the club, two years after quitting the Ghanaian League champions.

The 26-year-old left the Kumasi-based side in 2012 after accusing then coach Maxwell Konadu and his backroom staff of treating him as an outcast.

However the former CS Sfaxien attacker has confirmed his readiness to stage a return to the club after leaving Egyptian side El Gouna.

“I miss Kotoko so much and will easily join them if they want me," Toure told Accra based Asempa FM.

"When you play somewhere and everybody likes you, you would always want to make a return.

"I enjoyed my stay there and been monitoring them since l left. I know they have good players and a great coach [Didi Dramani].

Toure is currently training with Ivorian side Asec Mimosas to stay fit ahead of a potential return to the two-time African champions.
