Stephen Offei to join amateur US side Ventura County Fusion

Ex-Hearts player Stephen Offei

Ghanaian central defender Stephen Offei is heading to California to join amateur United States of America side Ventura County Fusion.

The former Hearts of Oak player participate in the USL Premier Development League with the hope to catch the eye of clubs in the United States Soccer Leagues and win a contract.

Offei will spend six months in the USA.

He played for Ghana’s Under-23 team at the 2008 All Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria
