Statistics show huge influence by Ayew brothers in Marseille successes

Posted On Monday, 28th January 2013

Andre and Jordan Ayew

Statistics have shown that that Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan are the two most important factors in Marseille’s campaign in the French top-flight so far this season.

The Ayew brothers have scored 12 of Marseille’s 28 league goals this season which is nearly half of the goals scored by the club this season.

This means the Ayews have both contributed to 43% of the goals scored by the club so far this season.

They have also scored four of the last five goals by Marseille.

Their 12 goals has catapulted the club to third on the league table with 42 points – three adrift of joint leaders PSG and Lyon.

The two players were excluded from Ghana’s squad currently playing at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Actually they are joint top scorers with 7 ligue 1 goals a piece also tied with Gignac who has 7 too but Jordan leads with the most goals in all competitions with 13. May Allah continue to bless them hate and envy from other humans cannot bring down the ones Allah has blessed, its a futile effort

When it comes to national affairs and competition, pride and ego and past scores must be put aside!ONLY THE BEST CAN BRING ULTIMATE HONOUR TO THE COUNTRY!!!This attitude of “showing where power lies” is a typical sign if weakness and incompetence!! The “ongoing saga” and its outcome should be be food for thought for the parties involved; for now, BOTH ARE LOSERS (AND HAVE DISPLAYED “ZERO-SPORTSMANSHIP” – THEIR BEHAVIOUR DOES NOT BEFIT REAL SPORTSMEN) AND THIS SHOULD BE A LESSON TO ALL!!!

  4. Tanko says:

@Makaveli: Its an achievement! and a great one indeed. You sit there and hate has filled your heart and you can’t even appreciate something great just because you don’t like achiever…..wow! its sad, look in your heart and see what the hate is doing to you

  5. musah says:

please check your records well they have both scored seven goals each and Jordan has made 4 assist and Andre has also made 5 assists

      • IYKE says:

and you are the worst fool kwaku! i jst don@t understand why people hate these boys! this is typical Ghanaian pull him down attitude. you people will do everything possible to see the failure of successful people just because you can’t beat them. see how coach Kwasia Appiah is joyous just because of a mere well-wish the team receive from that idiot Kevin. and i say he is an idiot because I know his family a lot about him. this guy practically disrespected you by refusing to even see you when you made the trip to Italy, yet you will lick his stupid ass to get him play for you. Dede has giving his all to the nation and because of Kwasia Appiah’s quest to settle personal scores he pounces on flimsy excuses of indiscipling to achieve his diabolic agenda. Kwasia Appiah, posterity will suely judge you though i still pray for Ghana’s success in the AFCON because Ghana is way bigger than your filty ego! Aboafunu!

  7. daccah says:

it not only at Marseille but also at national team, Just see how Ghana is struggling at the AFCON 2013 that is when you will know the importance of the brothers. My GOD continue blessing them and grant them wisdom.

Stop fanning public rage against the coach akwasi Appiah, GSN. Football is not boxing, neither it is played with 2 players.Does every coach has the right to choose the players he think he can work with? if YES, then why this?

“The two players were excluded from Ghana’s squad currently playing at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.”

Its a shame the article doesn’t even have a writer.
Pls GSN stop this inciting hatred towards the coach and the Pull Him Down

    Disgusting,,,,,,,,,,,,,
