Ghana U17 coach coach Paa Kwesi Fabin is optimistic about his boys' chances against South Africa in the CAN-17 first-leg qualifier.

The Black Starlets are in South Africa to face Shakes Mashaba’s Amajimbos at the Sinaba Stadium in Daveyton on Saturday.

Paa Kwesi Fabin's boys have been thrilling in their warm-up games and are fired up for their first competitive game after pulled out of the first round qualifiers.

Former Heart of Lions coach Fabin says his side are going into the game in an upbeat mood as he comes up against a strong South African side.

“We are well prepared for the game and I believe we have done enough to counter their unique style of play”, Coach Fabin Accra-based told Joy FM.

“I believe this team we have is as equally strong as the one that was disbanded because of the MRI and definitely the boys will live up to expectation.
