A renowned Sports Consultant Kurt E.S Okraku has prescribed an antidote for Kwesi Appiah to restore the Black Stars to glory urging him to call-up experienced and promising talents.

The Managing Director of Proton Services Limited is urging the Ghana trainer to hand call-ups to experienced and budding talents to aid his ambitions of qualifying to the 2014 World Cup and winning the Nations Cup in 2015.

He says Marseille star Andre Ayew should be quickly re-called into the team while also clamouring for calls for in-form Greuther Fürth’s exciting left-back Baba Abdul Rahman as well Yahaya Mohammed and Emmanuel Osei-Banahene as an option to Asamoah Gyan.

He told GHANAsoccernet.com: “Kwesi must forget about what has happened and bring back Andre Ayew into the team,”

“Was dropping him for AFCON not an enough statement of intent by the coach?

“He must also look in the direction of Yahaya Mohammed. By far the best defensive midfielder whom in my opinion is better than Emmanuel Frimpong.

“Emmanuel Osei-Banahene is by far the best option to Asamoah Gyan. He’s very strong and deadly at dead ball situations.

“Baba Abdul Rahman is the best natural left back Ghana has seen in 30-years and should be considered as well as bringing back John Mensah, who brings stability regardless of his so-called current situation.

“I cannot also forget the exploits of Sulley Muntari for AC Milan.”

Ghana’s abysmal showing at the tournament has led to calls for experienced players to be recalled into the team while players who showed little or no commitment shown the exit door.

It has been hugely speculated that the axe will fall on the likes of Derek Boateng, Anthony Annan, Emmanuel Clottey, Awal Mohammed and Daniel Agyei.
