The Ghana League Clubs Association's organized Top 4 tournament gets underway this weekend despite difficulties in securing a title sponsor for the competition.
Last season's quartet: Aduana Stars, AshantiGold, Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions- are in the frame to battle for this year's prize.
On the opening match day this Sunday, Hearts entertain Heart of Lions at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium and AshGold play champions Aduana Stars at the Len Clay.
"Ghalca has been struggling to secure sponsorship for the Top 4 but that will not be a major hindrance. We have met with the clubs taking part and have come to a conclusion that the competition begins this weekend," Chairman Emmanuel Adotey said at a press conference.
