Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak suffered one of their heaviest defeats in recent times when struggling Wa All Stars thrashed them 3-0 in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Mohammed Polo made wholesome changes to the midfield that drew against Aduana Stars in Obuasi by introducing Sampson Cudjoe and a couple of midfielders to the Hearts set-up but it backfired spectacularly.

Striker Selassi Adjei was also handed his first playing minutes under the Polo while Tetteh Luggard stepped in place of the sick Philemon McCarthy.

But All Stars, who lost against Heart of Lions at the same venue in their last Viagra home game, put in a strong performance to comprehensively beat the Phobians.

Dennis Adusei hit the opener for the home side with a clinical finishing from inside of the box.

Sixteen minutes before the interval, former Ghana U17 midfielder Paul Asare topped it up for the All Stars with a close range tab-in.

Hearts tried to come into the game after the break but they failed to march the All Stars midfield which had the brilliant Emmanuel Gyamfi.

A moment of madness between goalkeeper Luggard, Owusu Bempah and Stephen Tetteh gifted the third goal to Asare who raced to calmly kill the game for the home side and boost their relegation survival hopes.

What an embarrassment. I think it serves us right after we needlessly sacked a competent coach who was performing.

  12. Adebayo says:

I always thought that Polo talks too much. not all good footballers may be good coaches. He should try TV commentating!

  13. baba@ada says:

    Fabu! Always the best

  15. Maxwell Johnson says:

I said it! This Polo guy is not good at all, he can never take the team to greater heights. You part ways with a top-notch coach like Duncan then you go and appoint this empty barrel of a coach who has no track record, he hasn’t even played @ the highest level of football nor has he coached any top flight team or has any coaching experience. All he does is to come on radio and talk, talk, & talk with nothing to show for. Bringing in this empty barrel as a replacement for Duncan is like exchanging Bugati for Coralla S, even if you weren’t gonna rescind your decision to reinstate Duncan at least you should have gone in for a top-notch foreign coach cuz H.O.O deserve better not this half baked manager. Foolish & vision less board members thinking because they are the majority share holders of the club they can decide to take any decision that they want, I have lost total respect for Neil & the board chairman. How the hell can we loose by 3 goals to nothing to a mediocre club like All stars, I don’t even remember the last time we lost by such a huge scoreline. Nkwasiafour!! They’ll be playing in an empty stadium come this second round cuz we the fans wont come to the stadium to watch “bugga bugga” football! We want to see the team play attractive football just as it was during Duncan’s time, look @ where he took the team and where we are now. It tells you the kind of work that the man has done, imaging how strong the team will be in a year or two with the same core of players and some few good additions. Before Duncan left Kotoko were leading us by just a single point, now the gap has widen to 7 points and we’ve also dropped to third position. Just look @ the inconsistent performance & results that we’re witnessing now, bunch of useless & vision less board members. If we don’t win the league or at least finished in second position we gonna be on their fucking dicks!! Nkwasiafour!! God damn it am so pissed in here!!

  16. maxwell says:

i said this in the same forum that Polo to me is not a tactician but rather talkative who needs money to sort himself out. Dr Nyako Tamakloe i suppose will be very happy because according to Polo can deliver . If they don’t take time by second round they will be in relegation zone PHOBRIM. Thump up MD you are doing a good job. see you in first division next year

  17. maxwell says:

SONGO WILL BE EXCITED BECAUSE HE WANTED DUNCAN OUT SO HIS TEAM WILL TAKE THE LEAGUE COOLY.ENJOY UR SELF FIREMAN

  18. Sasa says:

Hahahaha phobia why craying never compare urself to the big team in Ghana. I m more than the word happy hahahahaha fabu no size.

  19. Stranger Danger says:

thats what you get for removing Dunkin

  20. Eljefecrack says:

An so happy we lost …..Dictators don’t make it…they always fail…
