The 21-year-old gets the chance to impress on the big stage after excelling in the Europa League last season.

He signed a three-year contract with the Segunda side giving him the chance to showcase his talents to top clubs in Spain.

"I am excited to get the chance of playing in Spain and the little push from me will make me achieve things I dreamt of,'' Isamil told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"I have the dream of playing for Ghana at the high level because I have played for my country’s youth sides.

"Playing in Spain will bring peoples’ attention to what I can do for my country and I will work hard to give my country and club a good name.”

Ismail moves from Faroe Islands side NSI Runavik where he was named the country’s best player.

Valladolid coach Miroslav Djukic spotted the hardworking midfielder who has been described as the new ‘Michael Essien’.

Ismail played his first game for the club on Saturday as they beat Rayo Vallecano in a friendly.

The Ghanaian is now part of a 25-man squad for the pre-season training that will see them play Portuguese side Boavista next week.
