Midfielder Richard Boateng, brother of Ghana international Derek Boateng, has been recalled by Granada into its first team.
The 18-year-old midfielder impressed on loan last season at Cadiz and has been rewarded with the chance to play in the La Liga.
The former Liberty Professionals player joins Mohammed Fatau who made his debut on the opening weekend of the season.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Richard Boateng, a Ghanaian footballer and Orestis Karnezis, a Greek, have been called back to Granada for regular first team place.
“Boateng, who is currently one of the subsidiary payroll has been training with the team at Cartegena. The midfielder has been on loan at teams like Cadiz and San Roque de Lepe.”
