Mpumalanga Black Aces' Ghana international midfielder, Edwin Gyimah, could be set for a return to SuperSport United should Matsatsantsa wish to take him back at the end of the season.

As reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, the Siya crew has been informed that the Tshwane-based outfit have an option in his contract that means they can sign him back at the end of his first season with AmaZayoni.

Gyimah’s move to Aces was one of the shock transfers of the window, with it being confirmed that it was a permanent deal rather than a loan move.

However, while the switch was permanent, it seems Gordon Igesund’s side do have the option to bring the Ghanaian back after one season should they deem it necessary, as it was Cavin Johnson’s choice to allow him to leave in the first place.

Now, with Johnson having exited the club, it is up to Igesund to decide whether he wants the powerful defensive midfielder to return to them.
