South African defender Mason October says he feels appreciated at Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak’s South African import Mason Shaun October says he is enjoying is stay at the club and remains confident of making a mark.

The 24-year-old joined the club in July after signing a three-year deal with the help of his former teammate John Pantsil.

October has been featuring in the club’s pre-season games and has scored a goal- neatly taken free-kick.

Former Santos FC player hopes to make the most of his stay at the club.

“Things are going good. I’m still working hard and I’m happy. The feeling is hard to explain. I have no problems at all. I’m comfortable playing here,” the left-back told Soccer Laduma.

“The fans are amazing here. They give me that extra bit of confidence and as a player you want that. It’s a great feeling knowing the fans have your back.”
