South Africa are among the four countries who managed to stay unbeaten in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign while Ghana's Black Stars was the second highest scoring side of the qualifiers.

Cameroon, Tunisia and Gabon were the other three teams that did not lose a game as the qualifiers ended on Wednesday night.

South Africa's 2-2 draw with Nigeria means Shakes Mashaba's side still ended qualifying unbeaten after three wins, three draws and zero defeats.

Ghana were among the top scorers in the tortuous six-game qualifying campaign over three months as the Black Stars' 11 goals make them the second highest scoring side in the qualifiers. Algeria tied with Ghana on 11 goals.

Ghana managed to concede seven goals in the qualifiers which shows that the Black Stars technical team must work on their defenders going into the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

Their scoring is only bettered by the Ivory Coast who managed to score 13 times in the qualifiers, shipping in 11 goals at the back, signifying a leaky defence.

Bafana were one of the teams with the stingiest defences – only Cameroon (1), Senegal (1), Tunisia (2) and Zambia (2) conceded fewer goals than South Africa.

Cameroon had the best goal-difference (+8) followed by Algeria (+7).
