Oupa Manyisa’s absence from the South Africa team to face Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday evening was an injury-enforced one.

The Orlando Pirates midfielder, who scored the goal in the 1-1 draw against Senegal, has been replaced by Mandla Masango.

“Manyisa withdrawn from tonight’s squad after failing to recover from a knee injury suffered at training last night,” Safa tweeted.

Bafana need to beat Ghana tonight and hope that Senegal beat Algeria at the same time.
