South Africa U17 coach, Ephraim Mashaba, has urged his side to be conscious of the threats posed by Ghana in Saturday’s 2013 CAN U-17 qualifier.

The Amajimbos take on the Black Starlets of Ghana in the 2013 CAN-17 first-leg qualifiers at the Sinaba Stadium in Daveyton.

South Africa have been in camp for only six days and Mashaba says his side must remain focused if they are to overcome the West Africans.

“Ghana have very tough and skilful players so we need to focus more on tactical work because we know they also have a very good history in youth football,” he told Kickoff.com.

“We expect a difficult day at the office, but my players know what’s required of them to get victory.

I cannot believe that this S.A coach thinks he stands a chance against Fabin’s youngsters. These U17 Blackstarlets even wallop their senior U20 chaps recently. They are in S.A to wallop you at your own backyard.
