Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye has attributed Asante Kotokoââ¬â¢ continental woes to their managerial recklessness.
Soulama fresh from his exploits of helping Hearts cop up an impressive 2-1 win over Djoliba in the CAF Confederation cup first leg tie.
The Phobians are overly impressive given their bitter rivals Kotokoââ¬â¢s well documented choking on the continental stage.
Soulama who was blamed for Kotokoââ¬â¢s shameful exit at the hands of Barrack Young Controllers last year has revealed that his former employers have to fix deep rooted problems before having a crack on the continent.
ââ¬ÅKotokoââ¬â¢s problem are deep rooted and they have to try fix it,â⬠Soulama told Citi FM
ââ¬ÅIf you look at Hearts our performance is unexpected but for Kotoko the managerial problems are really hurting them.ââ¬
The Phobians will move closer to the money zone of the confederation cup if they avoid a defeat in the second leg of the tie at home.
